On the 29the of September, the Brazilian footballer, Dani Alves, was named a global ambassador of football for the Special Olympics. The Barcelona FC player signed an agreement with the Special Olympics in the presence of the president and national director of Special Olympics Spain. During the signing he shared some time with football players from this organisation and took advantage of this to inform his followers on Twitter. He said on the famous social network, “Thank you. It’s an honour to be a part of the Special Olympics family.”
