The name of this picture is Woman. She was created in 1999, using a Pastel Technique. This picture was my first experience with Portraits, and was a bit of an experiment. I found this photo in a National Geographic Magazine and chose this woman because her eyes and overall demeanor seemed very expressive.
This is a picture of a poor girl from Brazil. I think she is very expressive as well, and so decided to draw her. I got this picture from a book of photographs from the Brazilian Photographer Sabastion Salgado. He is a famous Photographer in Brazil, and I used a Pastel Technique to draw her.
