Born in the South East state of São Paulo, I moved to Salvador, Brazil (North East Coast) when I was five years old and have lived there ever since.

Sao Paulo is an industrious, busy city with little natural beauty.

Salvador is a very colorful place. People are laid back, there are beautiful beaches, and the weather is warm all year round.

In addtion to having Portuguese Roots, there is a strong African Culture here. This is reflected in African food, music, martial arts, and of course the fantastic Carnival Party.

In fact people throughout our world study African Culture not in Africa but in Salvador, Bahia! I feel that Salvador is a wonderful city for developing ones creativity.

When I was five years old I began painting and attending classes to further develop my skills. At eight years old I started making exhibitions of my art work throughout Salvador.

At fourteen I began taking classes for learning new and various techniques, including Oils, Pastels, Coal, Acrylic, Colored Pencil, and Black Ink(Chinese).

Soon after applying these new skills I made more Art exhibitions.

Later on I enrolled in college to study Graphic Design. Some classes I have taken are PhotoShop, Corel Draw, 3D Studio, DreamWeaver,

HTML Web Design, and Flash.

Brazilian Culture has influenced me tremendously and I like to reflect what I feel is unique about Brazil through my art work. An other significant influence has been

living in the United States for two years, studying the English Language and American Culture.

Right now I am finishing my studies in Catholic University of Salvador, Brazil.(October 2004) My major is Design, which includes Graphic,

Digital, and Traditional Drawing Techniques. My Major includes Teaching Art for children and adults.

I have past experience working with an Advertising Company, as well as teaching Art in a public and private school.

Please have a look at my Art Works, I hope that you enjoy them!
